Fifty years later, we are still providing quality, structured, educational programs for children in the community. We operate as a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, and enroll without regard to creed, national origin, race, religious preference or sex.
The Center opened with fifteen children in 1973. Today, we have over forty children enrolled. What started out fifty years ago as a program that offered child care services, has now become an academic program offering Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classes for children six months through five years old.
We believe the world of children is one of wonder and curiosity that should be explored fully by all children. At St. Luke's, we strive to provide an environment that allows the "whole child" to develop: emotionally, physically, cognitively, and mentally. We encourage children to be creative and responsible beings so that they can develop into healthy, responsible individuals.
