About Us

Welcome to St. Luke's

A non-profit, non-sectarian day school that has provided quality, structured, educational programs for children in the community since 1973.

Our Story

Our school first opened its doors in 1973.

Fifty years later, we are still providing quality, structured, educational programs for children in the community.

We operate as a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, and enroll without regard to creed, national origin, race, religious preference or sex.

Our goal is to provide parents with a warm, caring environment for their most precious possessions. We give the children love and nurturing we would expect others to give our own children. We mend boo boos, nurse sicknesses and give hugs to comfort as needed. We foster an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust and open, honest communication for all families within the center.

Our History

From fifteen children to a full academic program

The Center opened with fifteen children in 1973. Today, we have over forty children enrolled. What started out fifty years ago as a program that offered child care services, has now become an academic program offering Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classes for children six months through five years old.

Developing the "whole child"

We believe the world of children is one of wonder and curiosity that should be explored fully by all children. At St. Luke's, we strive to provide an environment that allows the "whole child" to develop: emotionally, physically, cognitively, and mentally. We encourage children to be creative and responsible beings so that they can develop into healthy, responsible individuals.

Our Programs

Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-K

St. Luke's is proud to offer open enrollment year round for all three of our programs.

We offer full time and part time care for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-K – Ages 6 months to 5 years – from 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We also provide meals (breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack) at no extra cost for all children enrolled in our program.

  • Infants & Young Toddlers — 6 months to 2 years old, in our Infant/Young Toddler Room
  • Older Toddlers & Preschool — 2 to 3 years old and fully potty trained
  • Preschool & Pre-K — 3 (fully potty trained) to 5 years old

  • I used to work here and Highly recommend. Love the teachers that work there. The kids are amazing,and always learning new things everyday. The structure here is immaculate, Compared to my daycare I’m at now. Kids have there free play but are always learning. The director is the sweetest you will ever meet. This place really takes childcare to a new level. Arts and crafts in the rooms are always a must here. They always are coming up with new games for the kids to have fun. I loved it here. So I definitely recommend your child/ children to go here.

  • My son has been attending St Luke’s for 3 years now. This is is last year as he will be starting kindergarten in Sept. The teachers and staff have been amazing with him. They have taught him so much and they have so many fun activities planned for the kids. We initially selected St Luke’s as a daycare but it’s so much more and we will be sad when his last day comes up.

  • We wanted to enroll our daughter into daycare for socialization and she was diagnosed with a speech delay. Both me and my husband went here when we were kids so it has been around forever! We started her part time not knowing how she was going to do in a new environment away from us. Well now 2 years later we put her in as full time and she is thriving beyond what we ever thought! All of the staff have been wonderful and I know they had a big part of it! She has made friends and always is so excited telling us about her day, and all about what her teachers did with her throughout the day! i highly recommend St. Luke's!

The school offers lots of fun activities and the teachers are fantastic and so wonderful with the kids.
